A Day With Massage Luxe

Places offering different relaxation services are abundant everywhere. With that, it can be challenging to find the perfect place to be pampered, what with all the similar services these places offer. What could be different with this massage place from the other massage place 5 blocks from here? Sometimes, instead of feeling refreshed and pampered, we leave massage places more stressed than before because we are unsatisfied with the experience. Massage Luxe is one of those that definitely satisfy their customers with not just excellent massages but also with the pampering they do that would probably make you sit back, sigh and say “ah… This is the life.” Luxury comes with it but of a different kind – it’s the luxury of having your aches and pains removed through massages, a form of therapy and proven reliever of stress.

While others eliminate stress by reading, listening to music, and doing worthwhile activities among others, why not do so while having a very relaxing massage at the same time? Once you experience just that, you will crave for it over and over again.

As a mother, a much needed pampering is a very much welcome experience. I want to show everyone why Massage Luxe got me hooked and make me want to come back to them everyday if I have the opportunity to do so. Who knows, after reading everything, you might have the urge to run to the nearest branch to experience what I’ve talked about.

Imagine waking up to the sound of the dog barking for an hour way before my alarm clock rings. Unlike an alarm clock wherein I can throw it out the window when it rings, I can’t throw the dog out of the window when he barks so I grudgingly wake up and I immediately feel all the aches and pains brought about by the previous day’s activities and, as much as I hate to admit it, even age. Yes, one of the most unfortunate downsides of aging is feeling tired and achy all over faster. Unfortunately, even with all the air-conditioning, the heat makes all the pains feel worse. Like any other day, I get out of bed all the while complaining in my head about how spending all day in bed is just so tempting but I can’t do so. I then let my unofficial alarm clock out of the house so that he can bark at and annoy something and even someone else. At least I’m not going to be alone miserably awake at 5 in the morning because of the dog. Misery loves company, after all.

To prepare for the day, I turn on the coffee pot and head to the shower and, because I am too tired to notice, I actually bang myself on the shower door, increasing the ache I feel all over. After a nice warm shower that eases the aches somewhat, I begrudgingly step out of the bathroom when the dog barks again letting me know that I have important things to do than stand in the shower, letting the water soothe all my body aches. I try to listen to the news but being distracted from hearing everything can be a good thing because just hearing about all the bad news is definitely not a good way to start a day. So, I change the channel and settle for something else.

I then head up to the warzone – my kid’s room. After what seems like forever coaxing my kid to get ready for school amidst all the groaning, moaning, scowling, hiding under the covers, and crying out, I can finally get on with my other tasks even if that ‘war’ left me feeling like I need to take another shower. I bring food out to the dog, drink coffee to try and feel alert, see my kid off to school and then go to work. And of course, work equals aches and pains and stress. In the statistics saying that 75% of workers in this country hate their job, I belong to that majority. And if you’re part of the minority, let me just say that I hate you. I’m kidding.

But of course, small things at work help bring about relief. Just seeing my boss step out of the office for lunch break makes me automatically relax and sneak in a couple of daydreams while working. But of course, this small reprieve is just that – small enough not to make a big difference in eliminating all the stress and pains of the day. Unfortunately.

When everything is done, I head to the bank to check my account. I tick off all the items in my mental things to do list: I paid the bills, I made sure my kid is okay in school, all our needs are met. Everything’s good so I give myself a bit of a reward.

I head out to the nearest Massage Luxe in the area and the ambiance immediately makes me sigh in relief, what with all the smiles and friendly greetings the staff give me and the amazing decorations of the place. Thinking about it, it’s not hard to realize that they’re part of the 25% who love their job just by looking at them. I see the notice for a job opening and I immediately inquire about it. I hear that the benefits are great and there is even a chance for employees to own a franchise so I quickly fill out an application form.

I am then led to a room and immediately treated to a very, very relaxing massage. Every aches and pains I feel are slowly disappearing. Stress? What stress? My thoughts shift to how great it is to have a dog that works better than an alarm clock, how wonderful it is to have a kid whom I love with all my life, and how I feel that I am an amazing person that can do great things if I want to. Yes, it is such an amazing feeling. To add to the relaxation, I read a good book and listen to music – a surefire way for me to release stress.

I realize after that they don’t serve a particular group of clients; they accommodate everyone who wishes to be pampered and that many of those are moms like me because after all, being a mother is a 24/7 work. Everyone wants to relieve themselves of all the muscle aches they feel and for a fact, doctors recommend massages to treat just that for everyone regardless of age. This company, together with their sister company FaceLuxe, makes sure that we get what we deserve and get that amount of relaxation we badly need. Combined with amazing prices and the latest massage technologies, everything is worth the money.

I head home and prepare dinner. My kid arrives from school and tells me what they did in class. I let the dog in and I realize that I’m not tired at all and that I can finally join my kid and my dog in playing, something I haven’t done in a while because of how tired I’ve been feeling almost everyday. Those massages obviously did the trick.

The next morning, I wake up with a smile on my face, feeling refreshed and relaxed. I can’t wait to go back and get another massage.
